Prep Hockey Experience Day – For Students Born 2009–2012

Is your child ready to challenge themselves in an elite academic & hockey environment? Everest Academy invites young student-athletes born between 2009 and 2012 to take part in our Prep Hockey Experience Day. This is a unique opportunity to discover what it’s like to be part of one of Ontario’s top academic and athletic programs.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2026
THE SPORTS VILLAGE 
8:00AM-12:30PM

Event Details:

• 8:00am – Check in
• 8:45am-9:45am – On-Ice Training Session
• 10:00am – 10:50am – Off -Ice training in the Gym with our Strength & Conditioning SAP staff
• 11:15am – 11:45am – Presentation on Athletic &  Academic Programming
• 11:45am – 12:30pm – Q&A

During the Experience Day, participants will:

• Train on-ice with our professional Everest on-ice coaching staff, focusing on skill development, game strategy, and high-performance habits.

• Hear from our off-ice strength and conditioning staff who have designed programs to build athleticism and resilience.

• Tour Everest Academy’s campus, meet our academic & athletic team, and learn how our student-athletes balance academics and athletics successfully.

• Experience our team culture firsthand and connect with current players and staff.

This event is ideal for families exploring academic-athletic pathways that help students excel both in the classroom and on the ice.
